ARTISTICALLY CRAFTY GOODS
for you and your home
So what kind of things do we make? Though we dabble in all sorts of creative endeavors there are a few things that are almost always in our box of tricks.
Chunky Knit Blankets
These were what started it all off! (see Our Story for more about how) We use 100% Polyester Jumbo yarn to create the softest most cozy blankets around.

The fun is mixing colors and stitches to vary the look and feel of these blankets. And who doesn't love a blanket that has a cool name like "Ship Shape", "Spruce it Up", "Walking the Bog" or "Gerbil Party"? (yes, Gerbil Party...don't ask).

We mostly stock blankets during fall, winter, and spring but can do custom orders anytime. Just let us know!

Ice Dyed Garments
We really love the way ice creates such beautiful results when using it in the process of dyeing garments. It breaks the dye into a prism of pigments that is truly one of a kind. We use only Dharma Fiber Reactive Procion Dyes which are vibrant and long lasting.

Our focus has been on aprons and scarves but are expanding into other wearables such as hats and bandanas. But no matter what is dyed, the ice is the real artist...bringing beautiful patterns to whatever is made.
Beads and Whatnot
Making jewelry is not our thing. Tried to make a watch once and realized that anything too "exact" wasn't our jam. But we love working with beads and other findings. What to do?

The first item came out of personal necessity. If you are "of a certain age" you probably have a pair of readers nearby if you have been "glasses free" up until now. They are all over the house but yet still not where you need them to be. So, keep them around your neck! And to be sure you don't feel like a 1960's librarian (not that there is anything wrong with that) we add a little glam to our lanyards be it for glasses or id badges. Let's start a lanyard revolution....they aren't just for the lady calling out the bingo numbers anymore!

And if you are kickin' it old school by reading paper books we also have bookmarks that are similar to our lanyards....beads, charms, and cord to keep your spot in your favorite read. (side note, there really is something about reading an actual book, the feel of it...the anticipation of turning the page...but I digress).
Porcelain Coasters
Coasters can be a lot of things. They can protect your furniture from heat and water. They can show off your personality or your favorite catch phrase. They can add another element to your table presentation or drink display. They can hold down napkins when you are sitting outside. (just came up with that one).

With all of this in mind, we create our coasters so they are heat and water resistant in an array of designs. Cute, funny, elegant, pretty, cheeky...we've got them all. We hand make them out of porcelin tiles so they are smooth and won't have your beverage sitting precariously. Beverage safety is truly important.
